Attached to the International Association of Missionaries of Political Charity and in close connection with it is the Higher Institute of Political Charity.

The Institute has an international character and its purpose is:

- to perfect ecclesiastics and laity in the Social Doctrine of the Church, as well as in its application;

- to ensure adequate moral and cultural formation for those who want to dedicate themselves to social and political activities;

- at the post-university level, the study of social, economic, political and legal sciences, in relation to religious faiths. (Art. 4 dello Statuto).
